I own the marketing tool Nosey Parker OKC. Nosey Parker is a character I created and is used to target local shopping in OKC using integrated marketing tools, such as social media platforms, printed guidebook, website, blog, mobile apps.
My first trial market was Spokane, Washington. I worked with 125 brick and mortar businesses. Oklahoma City opened in 2009 with over 100 businesses participating.
The Visitors Bureau of Oklahoma took me to SXSW with them where I informed online fans during APP Pitch Oklahoma. They also used my guidebook in their swag bags for those coming to the Buffalo Lounge.
Spokane voted Nosey Parker INW as the KREM2 'Best of Spokane" 3 years in a row. Spokane market closed when I moved to Dallas, Texas.
